what to do with stock exhaust?

just curious what you guys are doing with your stock exhaust after you bought aftermarket. madza sells the muffler section for a little over 600 and the connecting pipe for 180. i'm thinking of putting it on ebay, just not sure what is a fair price.

thanks

Send it to me, I want to see if it would fit on my Miata! I'll pay shipping...

Should be worth a bunch more in 3 years or so. Right now, everybody's stock exhaust is in new/very good condition.

I've seen one on ebay.

I saw an rx8 stock exhaust sell on ebay for $100 a month ago.

Stock 3rd gen RX-7 exhausts are in demand again. Maybe this one will be too in a decade or so.

I've got 2 stock T-II engines lying on the garage floor and a highly ported one sitting on an engine stand waiting for a new home. I also have the tranny and entire drivetrain lying around and my friend has the wiring harness. I am keeping the ported motor, 1 spare engine and the tranny. The rest is my friend's.

Save your old exhaust so you can put it back on when you tire of all the droning and booming from the aftermarket ricer thing you just put on!

8 doesn't need an aftermarket exhaust.
