Bought a new hoist and adjustable engine leveler thing, Sold my S1 tranny which the dude came and helped me drop and he took it home with him as pictured lol, then the next day I assembled my new hoist and then pulled my R3's engine finally, now all that's left is to pull all of the wiring out of the R3 and I can then scrap the shell:D
Finally got around to installing my RB Intake and BHR Coils, will post some photos later, but it runs smoother (i am guessing from the coils) and a bit louder under full throttle above 5k.
Took the radio out to get to the audio display that had gone Matrix a while back to fix it.
Swapped the ashtray with broken flap with new used one I got from part out.
Trying out EZ Lip - surprisingly attractive for a gimmick and for the price.
Stuck a hook with double sided tape inside the gas tank flap for the dangling cap.

Just the routine, spark plugs and oil changed. Mishimoto radiator of four years is leaking at the upper part, seems that one or few of the fins broke and leaking from there. Purchased a generic plastic one online(fastest shipping, 18 hours and it was here) and I'll attempt to replace that this following weekend.

Got my OEM Mazdaspeed front strut bar and should have the rear bar in a few days brand new from Medcentermazda. My new S2 Koyo radiator should be here sometime today and should also have the front and rear OEM Spirit R seats I ordered earlier by the 24th. Passenger front seat needs to be restitched, but should be an easy fix plus the seats were $1,000 shipped so I have no complaints

Took it for a cruise with my friends. Got a lot of crap. They even told me I should sell the car and buy a small truck! Lol! They were all born and raised around hot rods with the mentality that Muscle ALWAYS beats Import. No matter what lol (even though one of them wants a 350z ridiculously bad). and that quarter mile times are the #1 deciding factor on if a car is good or not. They didnt even think the car could get over 100mph or beat their stock ram1500 to 60 and said if it did it would blow up just bc it has a rotary! Lol think they have been watching to many "Regular Car Reviews" on you tube lol. Whatever tho, love my 8. Maybe ill just LS swap it JK

Lol thatd make me so happy. Literally not more than 3 hours ago one of them was looking for a new car and he found a ls swapped rx8 and went nuts. I told him id never put anything but a rotary in my car and he called me crazy xD its ok, we'll wait to see how his v6 ram 1500 does after a little while longer of his high revving abuse
Finally got my 2004 RX-8 driver-side airbag replaced from the Mazda dealer from the Takata recall. Feel a little better about potential shards of metal not piercing my face from an airbag deployment.
On a more positive note, also figured out that the passenger side seat leans way back and slides back far enough that both my girlfriend and I can comfortably be in it at the same time ;-)
I got my TurboXS catback exhaust installed earlier this morning. I had the biggest ****-eating grin on my drive to work. WOW. Even with the cat on it sounds amazing. Videos really don't do it justice at all. Will put up pics later
You need to be in the Series 1 Troubleshooting forum.
Google search is your friend.
For example;
"Rx8 Club troubleshooting P0661 CEL Code"
will lead you to something like this;
apologize about wrong section. I have researched all codes. just wasn't sure if one thing could lead to another code being thrown. Just would like an idea on which to start with.
