Took my 8 out of storage yesterday! So glad to have it back out and running. Going for an Etest today and oil change. Hope it passes :p
No mods on it - completely stock and no CEL on so hopefully it passes.

Me, too (storage=my garage)! Drove it to work today, also. Oil change and coolant flush coming Thursday.

Installed these on Phil's 8. New front 13"rotors and 8 Piston Calipers from K Sport.

Used a 10 mm spacer and ARP extended studs. (Because of the spacer use)
His TSW wheels didn't quiet have the clearance needed for this monster caliper. But the spacer and studs allowed it plenty of room now. About 6 mm's

well...well....well...after a horrendous and brutal winter here in West Michigan, I woke her up this past Wednesday. She was immediately admitted to Mazda dealer ( yes there actually is a good dealer here ! ) for check up. All good. I then proceeded to rev and scream down what few decent roads we have left. Got done, thanked the Rotary Gods, went to dinner with a huge smile on my face. Its such a ******* wonderful car.

Those look a lot like the TSW Nurburgrings in Matte Bronze that I've been looking at for my R3 (not the exact ones picture below, of course):

Care to share what exact color that is?

I'd maybe want to dip my R3 rims in these first, to see how it looks against my car before such a big purchase. Hell, I might like them enough to want to keep them on my car as is, and save some money!

I looked on Amazon and the closest I could find was metallic gold.

EDIT: Oh, and if you may, how many cans and how many coats each?

It is vintage gold. I used 2 cans of flat black as a base (its cheaper) and then 2 cans of vintage gold on top. Now that I am sure I like the color I will end up actually painting them this winter.

I am going to figure out how to make a quick release system for my G26 Serpa holster and attached it under the steering column.

I trust no one and the 2nd amendment says I can. There is no better reason or logic. You do not drive it so why are you concerned?
