What did you do with your RX8 today?
Think I've blown an apex seal or something nasty... was giving it beans coming over a bridge and all of a sudden a load of blue smoke out the back... let down on acceleration and it drove fine at 50mph... 5 minutes later tried to accelerate in 3rd and a load of smoke and no power... got her home and she's sitting outside and I'm thinking massive bills :-(

Took RoXy (yes i named my RX8 RoXy) out for a drive at midnight. Got on a couple long straightaways on some back roads for some redlines. First time I really got to get down on her since i fixed the cooling problem and boy she didn't let me down. after getting up to 115 in 4th gear, I wasn't sure what else this car could do anymore. The adrenaline this car can create is amazing.
Also does anyone else love the feeling of sititng at a redlight and some kid comes up in a civic or other cookie cutter car and thinks he's fast cause he has a computer chip or something, and you smile and laugh, KNOWING you've got way more class, style and power in the beast you're driving?

You are thinking of the 40th AE interior, the Shinka interior is beige Alcantera leather with maroon threading.

LOVE 'em.
Few guys here are starting to run them, pretty popular with the Bimmer crowd, seen a lot of reviews on Vettes as well.
They're more popular for high end sports cars in Europe seeing as how they're made in Holland but they're starting to gain traction here in the states. (see what I did there?
)
I switched to them on a recommendation from Ngo after we discovered that Toyo T1R's were no longer available in 275/30/19.

No, it does not.
Vredestein makes a Runflat version of the ultarc sessanta but that's not the one I pruchased
That tire can be found here: http://www.vredestein.com/car-tyres/...santa-rf/info/
because I want the added grip and benefits of an ultra high performance summer tire. Besides, we're in SoCal and on rainy days like this, I'm driving my Bimmer, not the RX-8. Racing really has nothing to do with the decision.

In 3 years I have driven just 20k so tires tend to last a while
Will be much less now that I ride the train to work and drive in once a week. So the next set of tires could last a really long time.

I thought you were going to show me your new turbo this week end and tell me that your car can easily do over 149 mph.
