A friend and I had just stopped by a Hollywood video, and pulled out of the parking lot into the left turn lane, to make a U-turn back home. In the other turn lane, to the right of us, pulls a dark blue/purple (it was dark) Firebird. Then a second later, up pulls a cop right to the side of me, flashing his lights. I look around, not seeing anything, wondering if he is flashing me because I don't have any plates on yet. So I lean over (I had done my friend a huge favor and let him drive 1 block :D) and ask the officer if there was a problem.

The cop thinks we've been racing this Firebird! I was like woah officer...we just pulled out of Hollywood right there! So he continues to ask different questions, blah blah...until finally I grab the bag with the sodas/videos in it as proof. So he left us alone finally.

But at least I know it LOOKS fast

 

haha, that is funny. I was getting ragged on the other day for our car not being as fast as they could be and go, "at least they look fast!!! Kinda like in the celica commerical where the old guy is yelling at a parked car, 'hey slow down!'" Now i have another story to share..

 

Get used to it, i go to car meetups all the time and i get targeted all the time. I had an accord before my 8 and i never got any harassment during a break up. But now that i have my 8 i get targeted all the time. I was at a meetup and the cops came to break it up so i got in my car and started to drive off. two seconds after i pulled out of my parking spot i see lights so i pll over. He slaps a 145 dollar ticket on me for not having my headlights on. lol

 

So like was the cop hot? Like in Night at the Roxbury LOL!
