I noticed that there are lots of unusual sounds people are hearing on this forum. Well most of the time, it turns out to be a normal.


I always heard a clicking sound whenever I turned my key to the position before ignition (the position where all the lights in the dash will come on).

Does anyone know if this is normal? Does that happen on other RX8's?

that is normal. i call it "intializing". basically the fuel injectors and oil metering pump "priming" the engine for starting.
