Silver is the fastest color rx8 - but that TiGray would do well...

guys....you know the outcome of the review.

"RX-8 is long in the tooth. Great handling car. Bad on gas. Quirky suicide doors. Needs another 100hp to be perfect."

There, I just helped save C&D a bunch of $$$. I give you permission to use the above rehash conclusions.

Dude - that would be the hands down funniest C&D article ever...provided they had no idea what was under the hood.

That makes no sense to exclude the '08 except for '08 sport trim since '08 is just carry over of '07 except for 40th Anniv. edition.

Well, I hadn't spoken up till now, just in case it didn't work out. But I had the opportunity to be a part of this, this last weekend (I actually just got home). It was an awesome time. I worked hard to try and represent the RX-8 community well - tried to get my car in tip top shape (which was actually just doing all my 30,000 mile maintenance so I had new plugs, fresh oil, new brake pads and rotors, coils, plug wires, fresh tranny fluid dif fluid, and a coolant flush all within the last 5k miles or so) and they seemed to like my car so we'll all just have to wait and see how things stack up when the article comes out.

C&D was awesome - I'd recommend anyone who ever has an opportunity like this, take it - it was way cool.

That sounds pretty friggin' awesome. I hope they represent us well in the article. So, ummm, I thought they were looking for an '06-'08. Oh well, yours in a prime example of an 8 no matter what the year.

Thanks for taking the time to get your car in top top shape to put our car in the best light. Guess they were okay with an 05, but yours has less miles than a lot of newer ones. My 05 has about 33K miles.

Look forward to seeing the article and glad to hear it was a great time. I'm envious!

Yeah I believe the article will show up sometime this fall (usually takes that much time to pull it all together I guess). I think that since the cars are pretty much the same from 04-08 they were ok with an 05 despite it not being perfectly ideal. Also, it seemed I was among the few really stock cars available that was able to make it out and since I had such low miles they felt it would be a fair example despite the different model year.

Anyway, I am really excited to see the article.

05/06 - I think it's just semantics when you have as low miles as you do. Didn't think it would be that hard to find a stock one, but then a lot of people have modded cars on here.

Who did you meet and C&D?
