1st post here on this forum....so here goes.

I know several people here may have already put a deposit (refundable, I hope) down at their local dealers. Has anyone experienced waiting lists yet? If so, how long are they already?

I know we're almost a year from launch (maybe a little less), but I sense that the anticipation for this car will get very high by the fall.

 

You can put a deposit down anytime you want, negotiable by dealer. Make sure it stipulates in writing that your purchase wil be at manufacturer's suggested retail price(MSRP). Some dealers won't accept that condition so shop around. Some may just call you to refund your money because of high demand. Don't expect to get one of the first ones at the dealer though when they can gouge hyped-up walk-in customers.
