Unexpected cool feature of the Nav system

So I had a Dr's appointment today at their new office I'd never been to, about 45 minutes away. I had the address and directions the office gave me, so I wanted to listen to the "Nav Chick" (as I call her) walk me through the drive.

Well, based on the shortest route calculation, she took me through some fantastic twisty backroads and rural farmland highways instead of the higher traffic straight line boring path I would have taken. These were roads I had never been on (or even heard of), so not only did I get to zoom through the country side, I had a chance to open my new 8 up a bit and got there faster than I would have otherwise.

If anyone is debating adding the Nav system as an option, consider the fun exploratory aspects of it as well. There are probably a dozen routes I could take to work... I think I'll see what the NavChick comes up with tomorrow morning : )

Quite! But not the first to ask : )

That's the factory grill... the plastic somehow caught the flash of the camera and reflected back like a metallic material would. However, seeing this effect has made me want to look into a stainless or aluminum grill down the road... I think it looks pretty sharp contrasting to the black.

Heh. I am happy to say that I have already done that mod. I love it in spite of some of the members comments.

I like that- do you have any shots of it from a distance? I remember seeing the rear grill on another thread and liked that as well... just seems like a ton of patience required : )
