I used to hate it now it's just part of the car but like i saide BHR i believe has taken care of that!

the meshing sound of the T/O has been a problem since about 5K miles on my previous 8. It doesn't seem to be too far left of center IMO.

bringing the car to the dealer now for replacement engine mounts, taillight seals and the pcv tsb. i'll keep you guys updated. they said it should take two days..

they have to verify the complaint if it is a TSB. even if it's a situation where "we know this part is prone to failure, we have an upgraded one" type situation, if YOURS is not showing problems, they will not make the repair. Sort of annoyin, but sort of makes sense.

Anythin that is a "recall" they will do no matter what.

yeah i've already been through those stages. they're fixing the problems and gave me a mazda 6 as a loner..at least it has a V6

got the 8 back yesterday and all work was completed. new engine mounts, new left taillight, and new "ventilation kit" for milky substance on dipstick. total bill parts and labor was $1280.32..cost to me was $0 which was amazing! car feels a lot better with new mounts. nothing good or bad to report with the ventilation kit. i'll change the oil tomorrow and keep an eye on it. left taillight looks beautiful!
