Does anyone know what kind of transit protection Mazda uses on the RX-8 body (if any). I presume that it is some kind of removeable paint protection. Whatever it is: how scratch resistant is it?

 

i got a rather large paint chip on my nose when i took delivery. luckily my dad saw saw it before we left the dealership (dark out and black car). It looks like i may need a new nose, since there is a small dent in the nose. Mazda said to just bring it by soon and they would thke care of it. It must have been a huge rock or another car. They do use white sheets of plastic on the body panels.
