I did a motor swap about 6 months ago and the motor came with a flywheel so i did not have to re use the one from my other motor and it seems like ever since then my tranny is a lot worse....

i never had issues before but now if i downshift into second a certain way or if i shift into 4th and 5th in a high rpm shift it grinds real bad... i know it sounds like synros but why would the new motor have an effect on this?

 

Check the clutch slave..and make sure you re-bleed the clutch..

Clutch bracket is also suspect
