Tokyo Auto Salon 2005
TAS 2005 in Chiba, Japan. Makuhari Messe Expo Center. Jan 14(press day), 15,16 (open to public)
must see to believe. check with your local speed/rice shop. they prolly know of people going.

Manufacturers don't usually unveil new models at the 'Salon. Maybe you're thinking of Tokyo Auto Show. The salon is mainly for the aftermarket. It is cool to see, but I don't really think it's worth the trip to Japan just for that.
