Manufacturers don't usually unveil new models at the 'Salon. Maybe you're thinking of Tokyo Auto Show. The salon is mainly for the aftermarket. It is cool to see, but I don't really think it's worth the trip to Japan just for that.

I didn't realize that they were to seperate shows. I had thought that is was two different names for the same show.
