ya, i TRIED my rear window myself and have done MANY tintjobs in the past for vehicles such as grand ams, s10 trucks, saturns, etc. But I attempted mine and FAIL was the only thing that resulted. got er done professionally with lifetime warranty for bubbling for 199 out the door.

going the kit way and DIYing, on average you will save about 50-70 bucks... so far most prices posted were 160, 190, 200... the trouble that rear window is, is worth spending the 50-70 to get all the windows done by a tintshop. and the warranties most of them include are nice (ex: bubbling will replace lifetime).

I'd say at least 2 rolls cause you will screw up a time or two. I would personally go with the pre-cut sheets if at all possible. Then again, I paid less to get mine done by a pro with lifetime warranty than what they are asking for the pre-cuts so i don't know what to tell you.
