go for what you want and can afford.it's not gonna kill anyone paying cash so those who can pay and have fun!things like this happen everyday so whats the fuss!!!man just go out there pick what you want drive it buy it and enjoy your life!hope you get a good price for that sweet chevelle!i had a 69 road runner some time ago and i am not mad about getting 14- 23mpg when at the time ten miles to the gallon did not matter as much as todays mpg's.as far as turbo go's around the washington and maryland area's it's pretty costly on speeding.but kinda cool to have a turbo under the hood popping that blow off valve..have fun and just do it!!

I can't imagine going straight from the 67' I had, (in 91', above) to a modern sports car.

+1 on the test drive. It's a whole other world. Make sure you can live with the difference in tq.

The fastest GReddy turbo/interceptor-x RX-8 was 13.1 @ 107mph and that was with 90lb of interior removed (passenger and rear seats) and drag radials.

I currently have the same mods as the car above and if you have a heavy foot, it will cost you lots in gas. There is not as much torque compared to my 2001 mustang gt with vortech s/c but the rx8 will out-handle it any day!

I say test drive all the cars you’re thinking about 1st and then make a decision.

o ya 331 small block and 10.2=1 compression (i belive its 10.2 its around that)if you want to know
Tires arnt as skinny as you think there L 60s and there like the sportsman Mickey tompsons sticky compound. Approx 350 rear WHeel hp and a small block, Big block = miore weight, and bad top end. A small block has great top end and bottom end. Thats why a good small block is better than a stock big block, Small blocks would beat big blocks all the time thats why they were so famous a stock 396 or 454 had alot of torque but didnt do as well as you would think in the qrt where a small block did alot better then people think..
Go to a quarter mile calculator put in 3700lbs 350 hp tell me what comes up.. Once the drag strip opens up if i still have my car ill go down there and get a time slip for ya.. You can say im a LIAR or whatever you like, but i know what i ran i ran 5 passes in one day and i used 25psi, advanced my timing and 5 gals of race gas. my first pass was a 14.3 i spun till 3rd gear that was with 35 psi..
Well anyways if i still have it when the local track opens up ill send you a time slip,
(small blocks can easily beat a big block in a street car alot of people will say that look it up)

I honestly dont want to keep my chevelle i want a New car i love something old but i need a fuel injected newer car, everyone says keep it but you have to realize i dont want to pay for 2 cars on insurance, and maintence on two. i want one car that is reliable and doesnt drain my wallet, I called a dealership thats in Oxford pa if anyone knows where that is and they ahve a rx8 and a 2002 SS camaro im going to go test drive on monday... ill let you know how that goes After my hockey game tonite i will post another pic of my car too
