Id suggest at least no more than 60k miles (still has engine warranty) on the clock, and a manual one. RX8 is the sort of car that lets you know power ISN'T everything.

aha, thx, I like my toys.

Your camaro is'nt worth more than $5k if that. You can't go wrong if you are trading even for an 04 rx8. Besides an old camaro is nothin but junk when capared to a modern sportscar like the 8. I can just imagine the rust on your car. Why would anyone put $15k into an old 1980 camaro anyway? Especially a high schooler. Something not right here. I doubt his post is real.

haha wow, confident about that? the camaro is rust free fresh coat of paint new engine exhaust 90k original miles on the body , which has never ben driven in the winter. new interior. its a nice car

and why did i put 15k into it? because i had the money and i could, dont ask where i got the money from because you wouldnt believe me(parents didnt put anything into it), if you believe that this post is a fake, then you really wouldnt believe me.

as to why would anybody put money into a muscle car, we arnt going to change the thread topic here.

Ok then why would a teenager restore an old muscle car for 15k then turn around and trade it for a 10k modern car. Your restoration must be recent since you are claiming to be high school. Plus you only have 8 posts to your name. It's just all too unbelievable.

A lot of people find that owning a particular car is less fun than restoring it was.

On a smaller scale, in the late 60s I rebuilt a '53 Chevy. It was kind of fun, and really rewarding when I fired it up and it ran. Also when I managed to scare up front end parts so it would be safe to drive.

But when it was done, all I had was a 16 year old Chevy. Wound up trading up to a '62 Falcon. And from there I traded up to a '72 BMW, which was fun to own and I kept for quite a while.
