I will try....I dont like the front end that much, i dont like the fog lights on the 09 in comparison to the 04...the 09 fog lights look like the Saturn Sky fog lights lol. I also dont like the little reflector on the side fender...where on the 04 it looks great with the mazdaspeed flares on the fender. The steering wheel i didnt like, not that sport in my opinion. I also like the old gauges over the new ones. Then the clutch felt a lot softer then my 04, and also the rear exhaust pipes not being enclosed like the 04-08 im not a fan of. I also didnt like how they took the rotary accents from the near. The new 09 didnt feel quicker at all either, the handling was great which is the same with the old generation 04-08. This is just my two cents, i know some people are going to like the 09 more but just not me...So please dont flame me....lol.

*Maybe i purposely hit the pole because i was disgruntled on what mazda did to the new rx8 lol.* Joking :P

Thats total bs man! A Subaru dealership tried to do that with me with a Subaru STI and i told them i wont buy one unless i can drive it first and they finally allowed me to test drive it and i actually ended up buying it the same day lol! (Drunk driver hit me and totalled it )

But if they dont budge and wont let you drive it then thats total bullsh*t man! Any other dealerships around?

The salesman who was in the car with me told me not to tell anyone and he wont either and said quit worrying and dont worry about it. So i took it off and test drove it...Honestly i wasnt impressed in comparison to mine and i hate the new steering wheel...lol.

Now my question is, they have all my information but my salesman let me leave and nobody said anything to me about the scratches from hitting the pole on their dealership lot. Now I was told that they would HAVE to have me sign something on the spot aknowledging that i did the damage and i would pay and since they didnt do that, am i going to be responsible?

Someone from another dealership told me that since it happened on the dealerships lot and its private property, that the dealership has insurance and it was just be filed with there insurance as lot damage and that I shouldnt worry at all about it and i wont have to pay anything.

Please let me hear your advice.
If the salesman let you reverse the vehicle or even drive it off the lot he is violating a basic policy of car dealerships. At minimum, he is supposed to manuever the vehicle into a position where you can navigate safely off the lot. In reality, he is supposed to drive with you off the lot and switch seats at a designated area. Dealerships carry insurance on their salesmen that cover "all vehicles owned and not owned", this means if he totals your car while test driving it to determine trade in value it is covered. If you were operating the vehicle at his discretion under his supervision you shouldn't pay a dime.
