Does you guys ever see any 8 swap into 4 rotary ? Because i m plan on my project to swap 26B into my 8, I know it s alot of work but it's would be crazy at the end.

 

try it and tell us what happens...

 

I swapped in 4 rotors into my RX-8...it was pie...

Hardest part was removing the lugnuts...

I don't think 4 rotaries will fit in the engine bay... By the way, I plan to swap a Honda Suzuka Spec V10 into my Evo, maybe we can race!1!!!!1!

Sure i will try it and let's make it happend, It's will get alot of welding work and it's would be great for custom engine bulid, My goal is 4 Rotary with twin Turbo at least

Good luck with that. what i wanna know is where are you getting this motor from. talk about 1 of the hardest motor to find on the planet

 

Exactly my point... Something tells me that someone that doesn't realize it's a 4 ROTOR not a 4 rotary will never be able to find one let alone make the build happen.

DK, or should I call you Drift King? Do you have an extra 100K+ sitting around? Because that's probably about what it would take to even consider making this happen.

 

http://cp_www.tripod.com/rotary/pg03.htm Seeing that they stopped production plus the factor that the engine bay room would not support this motor with out tearing up the inside of your car or extending the front end about a foot and a half, i would love to see your progress if you actually manage to obtain the motor. I have never seen or heard of it being installed in a RX7 let alone a RX8

I know some of those guys can't believe what i will do for my faith, I want to success in my 8 project and let's me handle my business with 4 rotary project maybe i can talk to mazda factory or buyin from some one i don t care how far it is and i keep my lucky with me and i will keep my faith with me.

question: how much do you expect to spend on this project? Faith or not faith, you either can or cant afford it.

 

well first you should start by calling it 4 rotor, not 4 rotary.

second, you're talking about 50k for this kind of project because i don't think obtaining one would be anywhere near easy, so doing a custom job would be your only shot. was it like 10k for a custom e-shaft for the scoot fd?
