Sure looks complicated in there for a NA (maybe I'm too used to older cars). Still enough vacuum hoses in there to make me cringe. Though I guess it's nothing compared a FD

Crazy idea

Some of you rotary buffs out there know what I'm talking about when I saw STREET PORT. Since forced induction on the new 13B is going to be a pain in the ***. How about leave the intake alone, open up the enhaust, and port the motor for street use? That should be good for an additional 35hp or so?

Thoughts?

welcome to the board onikageka, but i think you should so through the pictures and study the new port layout: the inspiration ports aren't in the same place as they used to be...
also, please stop by the Tech Garage, read through the (really wicked, and my favourite) thread "How the RENESIS Makes More Power"

Smile Supercharged Rx8

From the photo it look like that you could fit a vortech belt driven supercharger in it I'm pretty sure. They are not that big. I would just need a bracket and a assocatied piping, Etc.... Oh yea battery relocation is a easy mod. I wonder why they put the battery so far forward there not really heavy but they have some weight to them. maybe 20 lbs.

Normally, you move batteries around to balance out the car, and it seems like the car is already balanced where the battery is, so other than making room for some, why move it?

Are you sure it is over the front axle It looks to me like it was in front of the front Axle on second thought maybe it should just be left where it is.
