mine had one, took it off and now looks better imho. also, it doesn't do much for me anyways.

When you've got the deflector + the sunroof open + the beer-opener spoiler, it's like your 8 has 3 pointy spoilers; each one progressively bigger than the other..

If it looked more designed for the car then just a stick on piece of plastic i might like it. As with all add-ons for our cars.. some people like it, some people dont.

OK for all you HATERS of the sunroof air deflector.
Show me your proof by sending me your unwanted hated looks ugly air deflector FREE. just PM me for addy.
If you hate it so much you should be willing to just pay to get rid of it!

I put one on mine for awhile, because the moonroof was much noisier than on our TL. I think it is because the 8 has a pop up moonroof, whereas the TL's glass slides back inside the roof itself. It did help reduce the noise a bit, as I noticed an increase when I took it off. But ultimately I liked the appearance better with it off. If somebody wants to buy one make me an offer

the moonroof begins tilting up from the back. if you open it an inch or two, rain will dripp down from the backside. so the wind deflector does not block out rain.

it does what it's called, deflects wind and reduces its sound.
