Search the DIY section for how to do the corners.
It even has mods listed alphabetically.
Nothing to it once you know where that one little tab is.

I'll be a nice guy this time and provide you a link to one of the DIY's on how to do it. There are a ton though, and you should search first. There is soooooooo much info you can keep yourself busy for months!

You are new, and I am being a nice guy. I don't feel like getting bad karma today.

Question #1
The Price difference
OEM will always be higher. RX8Strakes.com sells identical ones for cheaper. Maybe you bought a used kit.

Question#2
The Clear Corners

Simple very simple
For the Driver's side. Turn the wheel to the right. Exposing the wheelwell to allow a philips head screwdriver to unclip the bolts. The screws in wheelwells are 1/4 turn. But a screwdriver in there and hold the outter portion and turn. The screw will pop out. Remove I believe about the 3 clips around the stock amber corners. Once you unbolt. You will need a I believe a 10mm or 8mm socket. There is a bolt going upwards on the rear portion of the corner. Unscrew that. Then Pull the corner and it will come out. Its a motion: Down, towards you, then to the rear of the car.

But wait 2 options.
1. Unplug the wire(hidden behind bumper, just reach behind and find it. The clip pops out and then unplug it. Then feed it thru the bumper
2. Unscrew the plug on the back of the amber and swap bulbs

Then reverse order to install.

Then same with passenger side.

It's easier then it sounds. It will take 15 minutes if that.

Actually the RX8Strakes ones are not identical. They do not use the OEM style mounting and retention. They are similar, but not the same at all.
