2000 miles into my RX8 I now have a really really annoying creak and squeak from my seat......its really pronounced when just normal driving not even thrashing it round corners. Now I am a big chap, 17 stone, but even my wee little Honda Civic type R has any squeak or creak, neither did my M3, Seat Leon, Honda Accord.......even my wifes mini doesnt groan!....

Has anyone else had any problems with the seats, going to take it back to dealers anyway but just wondered if its a car thing or a fat b'stard thing? ;-)

I just recently started to get a creak from my driver's seat, my car has 3800 miles and is 10 months old.

The only thing is I don't get a creak while driving, just from getting out of the seat and it doesn't always creak ... just once in a while so I'm not too concerned about it.

I'm not an overly big guy but at 5'10" and 212 lbs., I'm not too small either.

Wouldn't some WD40 fix this problem ...

 

I have the same issue - and did a thread on this last week. From what I hear, the dealer can fix it.

 

I took my car to the dealer to have the seat fixed and the asshats at the dealer said it was normal.

I am begininng to think Mazda is the Fiat of Japan.
