I dont really wanna my lower my car, but i read that MS springs and shocks only lower by 3/4 and inch. That would improve handling by quite a bit too.

Maybe next week, I will be installing the complete MS suspension, springs, shocks, stabilizers when they arrive. I would suggest that you do shocks at the same time, everyone is saying they need to be a matched set or the ride will not impress you.

The Racing Beat springs don't lower the car as much as the MS springs, so I opted for that avenue, plus they have a Mazda warranty.

Yep, no problem. Photos and a write up on performance after the install.

Do not get the MS springs without MS shocks. They claim it lowers the car 1" in the back & 1.5" in the front. Several people that got these without the MS shocks have had many issues with them. They are not made to go with the stock shocks. If your are going to keep the stock shocks then I would suggest you go with the Racing Beat Springs. It lowers the car .5" f/r and are designed to work well with the stock shocks. I have the RB springs, RB Sway Bars (w/front sway bar endlinks), and MS Front Strut Tower Bar and the difference is substantial. The suspension is only slightly stiffer than stock, but the improvement in body roll is night & day.

Doesnt Racing Beat have springs that lower 0.5" back and front for like $120?

Yes, if you get the MS springs, get the MS shocks.

My car was lowered less than 1" in the front and less than 1" in the rear. You will get variances if you do not lower the car to the ground BEFORE you torque everything to spec after installation.

Might get more answers if you post this question in the Aftermarket forum...

Racing Beat has a very nice set of springs but they really don't lower the car as much. I helped 2 people install them and the drop is not signficant, if Pete's main interest is to get the car low then another brand may be better suited for him.
