I miss the warm sun and dry roads with my partner in crime who shall stay covered up untill early April. Video games can only take me so far...

I am wondering how does this feel? Put away the rx-8 for 3-4 months and watching it just sitting at the garage. I bet you are really happy when spring comes!!!

 

Mine is in the garage from Dec. 1 until Mar. 1. I warm it up weekly and run it up and down my 100-foot-long driveway if it's dry and clear.

Yesterday my Explorer had a dead battery so in a rare move I drove the 8 to work. It was sunny, the roads were dry and clear, so I went for it. Sweet Jebus it felt good. But she's back on her carpet in the garage today. The Explorer is in the shop and I drove the Subaru today.

 

yeah it sucks. Everytime i pass through the garage to grab a beer, I must be reminded that I only have 3 more months untill she can surface again...

I shall be a changed man once spring comes. My 8 has been put away since Middle of November..

phoenix may have nice weather yearly. But it's just to dry for me personally.

 

That's why I'm not sure if I could have two cars. If I did it would have to be two fun cars so its just like having a different flavor. I just can't drive a beater.

 

Yeah i have a eclipse 3g as my beater. At least its better than a corrolla. But I think im going to look into finding a 4x4 tacoma for next winter.
