I heard from a buddy that a RX-8 REVOLUTION is currently available overseas, anybody hear about this or know anything about them?

 

I believe its just a niche title used overseas, may be for gran touring model. They prob still use it for the new versions. The new 09 rx8's have an available "R3" version that boasts subtle upgrades such as bilstein shocks, foam filled front cross member and some other cosmetics, maybe that is what he's talking about. Nothing more than that is offered though, not that i have heard of anyways.

I was told it was a dealer add on, much like a Saleen mustang, but have been unable to find anything on it. But yes, it is supposed to be turbocharged.

Yeah, it's a giant wish for RX-8's to come from the dealer with FI, but it's just a lie...and a cruel one that that!

 

i'm not 100% certain but I think its just basically a shinka w/ some exclusive metallic black paint and white leather.......
