In america the 6speed rx8 is the same thing as the rx8 type-s in japan
There is no a-spec in america... but the a-spec is a more highly tuned version of the type-s
also in america the four speed automatic (WITH sport package) is the same thing as the rx8 type-E in japan
Oh almost forgot but I think in america the a-spec is called the mazdaspeed rx8... I know some american show reviewed one but they've never been shipped to dealers.

A-Spec means it has
