what?

Can you say no ?

I think its cheaper if you get it online

Like me, I got 6 leading plugs, four of them are 6 heat range plug, 2 of the 7. about 10 bux each shipped. The place I got them do not have the Trailing plugs, they say they might be able to get it later, but most likely not this year.

So I found some! Advance Auto Parts!

Just thought I'd share in case people didn't know, they also have the trailings!

don't be so picky. The dealerships in Canada charge $265 for a set.

^^^ I declined. I will get them online.

Even the RX7 plugs were over $80 for all 4.

bump - can anyone talk about how to "check" my sparkplugs? i don't know when they were replaced. car running a little twitchier than normal at idle. not sure if i need new sparks (46k), but is there a way to SEE if i need new ones, or is it all about how the car feels and how many miles it's been? under $100 to get the car to run smooth sounds great, just don't want to waste perfectly good sparkplugs if they don't need to be...

If you are still on the original sparks at 46k you need new ones. I believe the maintenance schedule called for 45k.

thanks. i've done nothing but warranty work so far. so if there was a scheduled change at 30k or somewhere, i got them. if not, i guess i'm on original ones still. i find that hard to believe tho, maybe i can check my paperwork and see if/when they replace them...

I just went and got RX-7 plugs (platinum) at O'Reilly's for $7/each and put em in my 8. Car is running great. NO adverse effects. If i have to replace after 25-30k miles, big deal. They are only $7!!! Hell i may just replace them after 15k just because they are so cheap. Though i know this info is not big news, i just wanted to reiterate it for the newer fellas who are broke!

Damn it. I wish there was something I didn't have to research before I get it done.
I had the dealer change the plugs and check my compression (just bought the car, so wanted a baseline). I expected around $15 a plug, the bill was 168 for all 4. Not as bad as some have listed, but holy crap.

Must be more diligent on the search button.
