sorry guys if any of u find my questions stupid. actually i am from pakistan which is a under developing country so we dont have these dynos and tracks over here. all i can do to measure my 0-100 is with a stop watch. we total have aroound 50 sports car in our whole country. rest are having these small cars like cultus mehran and vitz etc. i got my car imported from japan at a very high cost. so i alwayz find it annoying that the videos from youtube of rx8 and the times mentioned of people here are faster than my car. so i keep on posting stupid questions to find the problem that y my car is slower than others. this is the main reason. I love my car. thankx

 

The 8 IS slower than some other cars. Thats not a problem. Thats a fact. Relax and enjoy what you have.

 

relax, we all poke fun of everyone who asks questions that have already been answered or that are just way out there. try searching and reading the sticky threads to get your answers. they're there for a reason.

oh no man i was talking abt the rx8 videos. i mean to say that my rx8 is slower than the rx8 videos on you tube

maybe the youtube videos you are watching are better drivers.

 

It is slower because you have the 5 speed MT which comes with the 4 port motor . The same motor used for automatics in the States .

 

correct, it is the"standard power" version. not the "higher power" 6 port motor used for the 6 speed manual transmissions.
