so i stop in at this restaurant in my town to get some food and a beer with a few friends. i'm on my second beer and these 4 guys in there that no one has ever seen before were being obnoxious and drunk as hell. there are 20 people there i went to high school with drinking and then those 4. they decided to leave and i guess the one decided to run the 40 yard dash up over my fender onto my hood, over the roof and off the trunk. i've got about 15 dents in it now when i bought the car with 2 small door dings. i mean i know i work at a body shop but its ******* ridiculous. No reason for it either since the guy just randomly did it for no reason. he's lucky i didn't catch him do it or i'd of lost it and he'd probably be dead. it took me 3 months to find that car, had it for 2 months exactly and it goes from perfect condition with no repainting or body work done to it at all to this. what would you guys of done?

 

Called the cops...made an insurance claim...fixed the car

20 years ago...all bets would have been off. I would have been young, dumb...and had no assets for someone to sue me for when I beat him to a pulp

to the OP, sorry to hear about the damage, that REALLY sucks. some people are total *** holes and in some occasions people feel the need to dystroy property that they dont own or cant have.

my girlfriend makes fun of me because whenever we go somewhere i try and park somewhere that i can always see my car. but i wouldnt do it if **** like this didnt happen. makes you almost not want to even own nice things...

 

the stupidity people will display when they're out with "buds" and have some alcohol in them never ceases to amaze me. You're probably better off having not caught him since you'd end up in jail and he would have just sued you and won.

nah, i got my estimate it totaled out to 3500. so i'll get 2500 cuz of a 1000 deductible but i am gonna fix it myself so i'll be getting new wheels. i have to replace the roof and the hood is wrote to be replaced but i think i can fix it with some mud. fender and trunk are getting repaired and repainted too. i guess something good came out of it, just wish i could catch the guy so he has to pay the insurance company the 2500 back and give me my grand for the deductible. i have the police looking over the video tapes lets see how well this stuff really works
