I wouldn't mind having my historic Delaware tag in the front...but we aren't required to have a front one. I refuse to register in Virginia for this reason alone. Plus black tags are worth 1k plus.

No front plate is yet another reason why I love having my car registered in PA...if I had to have a front plate, I'd probably fabricate a side mount like someone made on here, so at least the "bucktooth" look is avoided. I bet cops down here in the police state of Virginia get all excited when they see me drive by with no front plate, only to realize that the car is registered in PA

i like how evo's put it on the side, but yeah the 8 looks ugly with it on, like an emo hair cut or something.

There's a DIY on using the Evo plate bracket on an 8. Doesn't look very good to me, but that's a matter of taste. And memory of that being how plates were mounted on pickup trucks in the middle of the last century.

I relocated mine slightly downward via the "use sheet metal screws one diamond lower" mod. Not sure if it looks better, but it gets the top of the plate bracket off the front of the hood.

It looks absolutely hideous to me. You really only need to worry about getting ticketed for it when you've been pulled over for something else and the cop is a total dick. I got pulled over for my tint, and got the license plate ticket along with it. Got them both signed off the next week.

**** cops.

On some cars, front license plates can look great, though. My buddy has a G37S and he just put his front plate off to the side of his grill with zip ties, and it's really cool.

i love the g force tread design btw

if you give the cops no reason to get pulled over, i don't see why its a proflem for no plates up front..i have no plates, but i drive in a mature manner, and 20% tint, its dark, but the police can still see what i'd doing in the day, and they are busy pulling over 300c's with 5%

My front plate is still in the trunk, where it belongs. If I get a ticket about that, I plan to get out my metal shears and trim the plate down to "numbers only" size before mounting it.
