To me it seems dangerous with my set of circumstances. Because the DSC uses the wheel speed sensors to determine slippage/ the difference in sizes of tires it can acticate without notice. Even when the speed is minimal, risk of possible crash extremely minimal.
When the DSC activates, it slows the car while also jerking it ackwardly so that it's not comfortable for me. No water, no sand or loose ground, just to know that at some random time in my daily commute the DSC will go off at least 5 times. F that, LOL! So I turn it off. Is it dangerous? Maybe not, I knew better than to just upgrade 2 tires at a time though things come up and the fronts still have meat on them.
So, while I feel this is dangerous it is within a certain set of circumstances. May they be rare or not it is why I stand behind my statement that it can be dangerous and disadvantageous at times.
