about to upgrade the air filter to k& n
mazda trix is literally on the same streeet that i live less then a minute walk aaway, i want to go over and get sum help but not sure yet
bout to change the flywheeel
but dont know where else to get started to get some more horses and slowly progress as my pay checks come in

 

Do some searches on the k&n air filter, depending where you live it might not be the best idea. I am just going off posts by Eric Meyer but he suggests using the oem mazda one, the k&n will most likely give you a few hp but it does not filter as good.

 

K&N is crap, and thats the end of it.

 

He's talking about just the K&N air filter... not the typhoony cr@p intake. There's nothing wrong at all with replacing the air filter with the K&N. You won't see much in performance changes but at least you'll have a top notch filter in place.

Also with Mazdatrix right down the road I'd definitely be spending some time over there ... once you realize that the only real performance gain is FI they'll likely take care of you.... everything else is reliability.

 

I was trying to say it a bit nicer, but yes lol.

 

I have a drop-in K&N filter. This filter will last forever than the rx8...lol
