Oh yeah. You should have bought an 06 GT. You can't "accidentally" lock the doors with the key nearby. It will refuse to lock if a door is open and you are pushing the lock button. It will just keep clicking and not locking. The transmitter seems to override that fucntion. You would have been safe. Trade up for a new model.

YOu don't have to run out and trad in if you are right there washing and cleaning your car, just leave the keys in the ignition the doors will not lock if you accidentally hit the button...Just a thought.

Check my posts in chronological order. I didn't start till he got on my case, and even then my remarks were limited to being sarcastic in nature.

I don't like being told how to act - ban me if you think my posts are inappropriate. I don't need reminders.

He came here to ask for help, out of nowhere he got **** cuz he cant get back into his 8, then the flame starts.

the stuff I typed might be a little too offensive. I can applogize for that.

but I think I have a point, he should've paid attention to his own personal stuff, instead of coming here to start the flame.

Yep, I'm used to locking my doors before I get out of the car and it just unlocks. I have to use the fob once I'm outside now. Not that I lock my keys in my car, did that one time before and vowed to never do it again. So far its been 5 years and counting.

Or better yet, if you lock the keys in the car, you cna just press the button the door and it will unlock them as long as the key is nearby, which it would be if it is inside the car.

I second trading up for an '06, that key thing is just badass

I didn't ask for your opinion, I asked you to be polite. And this is the second time in a week that I've had to do so. Worry about yourself before you start throwing rocks at anyone else.
