My rx8 has been sluggish latley and im hearing a snapping or clicking sound from under the hood. Normally it's when I'm on the hiway picking up speed and it begins to be sluggish and the clicking starts. Then it seems like it gets past the problem and it's fine. Then in the past week it has shut off completly twice then comes right back on my lights flash and come on, then right back off. Any ideas what it could be?? Thanks

 

I would check your electrical system. Or have a reputable shop. Start with the battery connections and then the ground points.
