Should I change from 8000K to 6000K?
Might be a dumb question, but are the majority of you switching out the bulbs prematurely to get different colors or simply upgrading to HID lights from standard halogen?
I'm expecting (hoping) my stock HIDs last at least a few more years (05 model).

Ye the stock HIDs look GREAT . So if anything for me ... 5000 to 6000k would be good. However, in one of the pics posted, it was said that its 6000k and it looks more white than stock HID which is weird.
^6000K or 8000K headlights above 3000K foglights look nice as heck at night.
If I had to buy new headlights I would replace my 8000K with 6000K. The blue gets annoying after a while and does not put out much light

I myself have a conversion kit on my car, so I just buy $20 bulbs because I want to see what the 6000K looks like. I think most of the other's in this thread also did a conversion.
