I have the same kind of kit in my rx8, except for mine is piano black instead of the wood grain. The piano black REALLY dresses up the interior very nicely IMO. I get a lot of complements about it.

No so true. The faux wood you have are stick on pieces. The high end cars use simulated wood grain from exotic woods and they are true trim pieces of the car. The choices of color, grain, etc. is carefully chosen to flow with the interior color scheme.

All-in-all not too bad, as with any mod, to each his/her own, but it did just save me from buying a wood grain kit for my 05 Shinka, i will now slap myself and order the carbon fiber instead.

Carbon fiber looks cheap, but go ahead it will match with your stickers on the outside of the car.

Don't like the glove box/dash trim. However, I like the console, but could use some additional touches to mesh better. Try looking at some of the SE Miatas for ideas if you want to continue the wood theme, they often have Nardi wood steering wheels and trim that blend well.

Also keep in mind that this forum appears to leans heavily towards traditional ricer ascetics and weigh feedback received accordingly.
