Danggggg...so sorry but I"m glad you are OK. I work in insurance claims also (not an adjuster per say) and as you know simply make your case (details details details) and if you are relatively fair about it you will be oK.

About truckers....you do know that it's not always are fault right? I've seen SO MANY truckers speeding that it really REALLY ticks me off. They are driving a vehicle that is massive and weighs WAY more than normal family cars and those that speed really REALLY tick me off.

I’ve been 75 in a 70 in the highway (on the left lane because I was passing someone) to then have a trucker pull up right behind my butt. So…while I won’t generalize truckers (it’s a lonely job) I won’t look the other way for the trash they pull because “they” feel safe in the behemoths they drive.

Note: Not saying those defending the truckers are doing that

I just think if you are a trucker you have to be EXTRA safe because frankly when they hit something like a family in a minivan/suv/sadan they normally take out the whole family. SO…when I see them driving like fools I wish I had a “FREAKEN laser stuck to my hood” so I could zap them off the road.

Keep us posted…sorry again and I hope the best!!!

In Gremany there is no semi traffic on Sundays. It does make road trips back home a little quicker. Wouldn't be a bad idea here. That still wouldn't have helped charliebull cuz his accident wasn't on Sunday. I tried....

I've dealt with truckers while a claims adjuster a great deal, just as in all walks of life there is the good, bad, and ugly. The one thing that stands out from those days, was their inability to chain up on a snowy pass. One particular winter in Oregon, I was awakened by an emergency call out three plus times a week. To drive to the scene, where the trucker had lost control coming down a mountain pass - why, because they failed to chain up. I'm still having a hard time figuring out how he didn't see me as his right front fender and wheel, clipped my left rear door. I'll be posting some pic's soon but it's too heart wrenching right now.
