Seat shifting during cornering

I did a search and only found seats squeaking. This is different. When I corner, and not everytime, the seat shifts left or right, depending on the corner as if it is not locked in place (I have the Touring with manual seats and it is locked in place). It only moves enough to feel it, then stops. It doesn't do it everytime, more like the first corner of each drive. Anyone else get this?

check that your seat is locked parallel..ie right and left sides are in the same lock point..not racked one way or the other. I can't say for sure, but I swear my cloth seats (which have the squeak/groan on corniner) also had a bout of "looseness" that seems to have gone away once I was careful to make sure that I was "square" on the rails.

Hey...thats not right!! Take it to your dealer for inspection. Cornering is to much fun to be distracted by a wobbly seat.

Mine does, or DID the same thing. I haven't noticed it this week. Although I am driving more cautious due to my tire condition. I'll see if its still there next week. The seat seems to shift only to the right. I can never feel it go back into "place" or go left. It's weird....

whoa, and I thought it was just me. It really bothers me now. I thought it was just the way I locked it in place. But then, even though I have adjusted it in different ways it still clicks as I corner (high or low speeds). This is lame, it feels like the car doesn't like to be driven like a sports car.

I'd take it in, but I have no time right now. Hell, they probably would F something up in the process. If I get time I'll probably do it myself. If the problem is still there. I'll know soon

Has anyone had this resolved? I have been hearing the same type of noise when turning right for the last couple of days. I guess I will check the mounting tomorrow.

Noise? Is your seat loose, like mentioned above, and is the sound that of the seat jarring during your turns? If so, try adjusting your seat forward/backward and then readjusting it back to your desired setting. My seat moved a lot for about a month and I realized it was just a little loose from the adjustment. Just needed to be re-secured in place. If that doesn't solve it, I'd take it into the dealer for an inspection.
