Only my kids. They could open them but never remembered to close them. Thus, a command was given unto them: "don't touch the damn windows anymore!"

Sure do. I open them all the time, weather permitting

Constantly when I'm on the highway. They make far less noise than the wind blowing over the open sunroof. Easier to hear the stereo.

I gave the same edict to my kids. Touch them at your own peril!

Only when i try and sleep in the back after a big night out on the town .

Reversing with the rear windows open gives a twisted perception of distance and space .

cheers

I used to use them but usually forget to open them before I get in, and they're just inconvenient enough for me to reach both that I don't want to tweak my back reaching around to pop them open.

If they were electrically openable that would be pretty neat.

That's what the volume **** is for, dude! :D I always drive with my sunroof open unless it's raining.

Backseat passengers use the rear windows in my car frequently. And my kids have been told that if they forget to close them (which they've each done ONCE), they will have to hand wash my car under my supervision.

If you are a passenger in the back of an RX-8 you appreciate those windows. It gets very claustrauphobic back there.

I'd use them a LOT more if they were electric. Having to manually open and close them are a royal pain.

My kids use them and are pretty good about closing them. Also, I like them open when the weather is warm, and I have the sunroof open but the front windows closed - helps airflow and is quiet.

Do you guys think that ordering the rear vent motors off of a mini van will be able to mount on our cars? I want to attempt this this summer when I take the car out of storage.

not recently.

I thought someone did a vent motor mod? or were they just talking about doing one? I seem to remember seeing a thread a few months back with a lot of research links...
