I bought the manual with the thought that my left ankle injury was far behind me and the thrill and fun of the car would keep me pain free. Now my ankle is hurtin' real bad. Will need to sell manual and get a automatic. It hurts just to write this. So if anyone knows someone interested PM me.

I was out test driving an automatic a couple of hours ago. There's still plenty of entertainment for your right foot. And your biggest consolation might be with the thought that your clutch would only have lasted 50k on those SF hills anyway.

Too bad Mazda doesn't make a BMW SMG-style trans option for the 8. That would give you all the control of the manual without the clutch pedal.
