I was gonna head to SoCal and NoCal for a road trip in December (epic road trip, from Indiana, to see the hawt women). I think I'll stay away for a bit now..., since I have heard so many stories about how crazy CA drivers are.

Maybe I'll settle for Florida instead.

What causes August to make CA drivers crazier than usual?

don't know bro - but i'm gonna go a limb here and say that crack prices probably took a dramatic drop in sales this past month and allowed more idiots to purchase and abuse...

That's one thing I don't get about America. Why don't they just ******* ban the thing? I have tried making calls before while driving, and quite frankly, they're dangerous. Now I make it an absolute taboo to make calls while the car is moving. Hell, no conversations on the phone.

i kinda agree

i mean, i've driven while talking on my cel (mind you, i have an AT) and it's easy - but still not safe - blind spots become bigger - and tho it's a small distraction while on the phone - all it takes is a split second to end things...

I have to admit I use my cellphone in the car even with stick. But I'm going to get a bluetooth visor setup when I get the 8 back.

dothackRAVE, I was going to say you should still come out and visit california, but December is probably one of the worst times due to xmas shopping and all that jazz. People get ****** crazy driving around looking for the newest ELMO dolls

EDIT: I WAS NOT ON MY CELL PHONE AT THE TIME OF THIS ACCIDENT. thank you

I'll still consider CA, definitely. I'm just trying to decide if Miami might have hotter women. It's a ***** wielding exercise.

Post-accident info

Alright guys, so the 8 is officially no longer mine. My insurance agreed to pay me almost $27k (note: I paid barely 22 for it after tax, registration, extended warranty, etc). USAA insurance rocks!

So I guess I am satisfied with everything insurance-wise. I will be getting a new 8 soon

For those of you who were wondering how the interior held up on the passenger side, here is a picture I took today. Also, another clearer picture of the front damage due to the 8 being dropped off the back of the tow truck.
