COOL! Well, look for my precious little car next time you go in. I'm sure it will be there for a while. It's really amazing how well it held up, now that I think about it. It's definitely something to check out

As for Jimmy, this was a while ago. The guy at the collision center was the main guy in charge for a long time at Tustin Mazda. Jimmy was not the boss until he was hired back. I'm not sure when all this happened. I'm just not a big fan of the guy I guess =/

I am guilty of not paying attention to that detail. Normally I'd expect pick up on something like that...

I keep forgetting how many women are out there that like the 8 enough to have one themselves.

It's a sexy car and hard to resist, what can I say! All of my girl friends that have sat in my car (or had the chance to drive it) wish they could have one also. I haven't met anyone who hates the 8.

EDIT: except for my boss.. she drives a 350z and thinks she can beat me in a race. FALSE but then again i dont race my car......

Ouch!

Blech! It's terrible that your beautiful 8 got creamed. Luckily it doesn't sound like you got hurt badly. Good luck with the insurance situation!

Sounds good to me, but it better be good

Edit: I know you said your boss said she could beat you in a race, I had to same thing happen to me at my old job!

My boss had a 350z and kept asking me to race him.

Unfortunately the 8 would probably lose in a drag race, but when it comes to twisties they're a pretty close comparison

It is a Ford Aerostar--the first Ford attempt at a minivan.

Sorry to hear about the accident and am glad that you are okay. Hope that you will be able to get another 8. I wouldn't want to drive yours even if it was fixed.

Did the Ford minivan run a redlight or stop sign?

Silver is the most popular car color regardless of make or model. Of all cars made, over 50% are silver, white, and black, in that order. White and black together total about the same percentage as silver (of all shades except the darkest which are classed with black).

So it's easily seen that it's not a curse, it's statistics. More silver cars are involved in accidents simply because there are more silver cars than any other color.

I prefer silver, have owned several silver cars going back over 30 years, and never wrecked any of them. I was, however, hit by an old woman in a beige Plymouth when I was in my red Landcruiser back in the mid-eighties. My wife has been hit in a blue Subaru and a red Subaru. So I have to admit no personal experience at all with any color-related curse, though red is kind of suspect...

We were at a blind intersection, facing eachother (both with green lights). I was taking a left in the intersection; he was going straight. We met as I was completing my left turn. I was cited for "failing to yield to oncoming traffic", but we'll see how it goes. He might have been driving a little fast

I was just tryin' to say VR's are dope too - had i a chance to get a different color 8.

All n' all tho - when i get my first stage of mod's done i'm probably just gonna paint it Graphite grey in the end anyways...

Too bad they don't sell Lightning Yellow anymore. My car doesn't even have a door ding on it. The yellow creates a force field of invincibility around it.

And no pics of the interior yet, but I can assure you the penetration was minimal.

Side air bags worked, that's good, front end damage... is there a Mazdaspeed front air dam in the works? Sounds like you're ok and that's the most important.
