I recently purchased my RX8, and am wanting to learn a little more about the car and some of the things I can do to improve its overall performance. There are a few minor things going on with it right now that I am going to have checked out, but other than that its an awesome car and I am glad that I purchased it. I need to have another RX8 owner drive it and see if they would be able to pick out the few things that I think are wrong with it. Also I am getting random creeking sounds when driving and haven't been able to locate them to stop the noises, mostly come from the driverside mini speaker above the A/C vent to the left of the steering wheel. Then I am a little curious about taking it in for a tune-up and I want to know what are the major issues to have checkedto keep the car in optimal condition.....2006 RX-8, 49000 miles, 6SPD MT, Silver, Gran Touring Pckg....$18,550 1 previous owner...

Go to a local club meet.

Start there, and please do a tune up on a used car.
