you can order the key with your car. you can also order a type-r switchblade key instead.

..but you have to order it with your car or you need to replace something in the starter and the ignition housing. (so said my dealer)

That I do not know. I bought the J-spec key and had my dealer try to program it, which they couldn't. I should have just followed the insuructions here on the forum and all would have been ok. the key does work when programmed correctly. Someone want to purchase the J-spec key fob and try it out?

When you order the key alone you do not get the lanyard, got one in today...

are you referring to the retractable key or the rotary key?

I'd assume he means the rotary key, and the lack of the case with it.

Yes the rotary key, but not the case the small lanyard with the little rotor...
