hey guys i have a 2004 rx8. can my air pump cause my car from starting

What's wrong with the air pump?

 

No... An air pump just pumps air into the catalytic converter when cold, to help the cat warm up faster and become efficient.

So, it will have absolutely no effect on starting, or any other driveability issue.

 

ok the problem i have is that i had to take out engine to do some body work, put back engine in and it wont start ...................its a 2004 right hand drive manual it just keep turning and turning no start.........i get spark to plug and i get gas up the line but no start

 

Reset the ECU.

 

Also. ChEck those dam coil packs.
