You sabotaged us once with Mazda, and I'm sure you'll now try and do it again. You're a big part of the reason why it took this long to get an agreement reached. So don't BS me, and don't act like you're Ms. Friendly. I couldn't care less about what deal you guys get with Mazda and I don't go sticking my nose into your business, so why not return the favor?

Jesus Christ man....looks like you need to tell ME or anyone else asking about advertising the truth. The person from Mazdasport didn't slam you just said that your info was wrong. It is rather important info don't you think?

As an advertiser I want to KNOW who really gets the new owners. If your BS'ing advertisers about your big deal with Mazda is is a really big deal to me as an advertiser...looks like self sabotage.

sorry calling him a liar on his forum is a slam period. if you want to check the veracity of his claim dont take the word of a competitor whose information could be out of date or just misinformed. take it privately and ask them to provide a contact at mazda or whatever but take out of here. this bickering is pointless and annoying. there is room for more than one magazine with rotory content. it also strikes me as odd that the 2 of you should show up at the time. i hope you dont have an agenda beyond what you said earlier. either way it ends here. thread closed

Unfortunately what I said is true ... we would have had a deal done with Mazda LONG ago had there been no outside interference.

Mazdasport got the deal first because they're essentially a Mazda property. Now we have had the same thing offered to us, and unless we were lied to, you'll start seeing RX Tuner sub cars in RX-8 new owners booklets very soon. This stuff just takes a long long time, both Brian and I underestimated how long it would take. 16 months ago we were promised the world by the Mazda execs we met with, and it's just now starting to pan out.

I guess they just wanted to see if we were for real or not, which I totally understand. Now that we've proven how real we are, they're ready to help. I'm excited about it. Nobody has ever been lied to, it's just been months and months and months of "the deal is on the table now, call me back next week".

Well, what's really odd is how that other mag says they're not a competitor of ours ... but then bad-mouths us to Mazda in effort of slowing our progress.
