thats awful. you'd think lamborghini would be muuuchhh better than that. that is very comparable to our car.

and my first car was a k-car. i was happy when i replaced it with the rx8. 95 chrysler lebaron. goddamn piece of ****. the motor was strong. but the transmission was horrible and it had electrical problems out the ***.

One thing I don't like about Ferraris, Corvettes, and their kin is that they are freakin' wiiiiide. I remember watching one day in Sicily when a Ferrari guy had to enlist a bystander to help him get through a narrow alley.

I live in a area where mostly all cars are 100+ and I still get looks from older guys that drive High end cars. Especially when I'm on the tollway it never fails some guy in his V12 whip always trying to race the second they see my car or just burn off. I debaged her so they dont know what the H3ll I'm driving.

I agree with the OP...those new R3's truly are a bargain for the price...U have to spend alot more to get something that looks that great. a 30k 3-series or evolution dont look as exotic IMO. I worked as a valet attendant a couple years back so I pretty much drove everything from porsche to ferraris to lambos to bentleys and all. Porsche 911 is my dream car because I love how rugged they are...no ammenities, just a real race car. Looks wise, same **** as an RX8. Ferraris have so-so finish in the interior...I think the difference between those 300k cars and a more affordable sport(y) car is horsepower and status.

Two thoughts:

1. I've had a couple of (poorly informed) people ask me if my car is "like, the new Corvette, or something".

2. If doors that open to the front are suicide doors, does that mean doors that open to the back are homicide doors? I think they could be, if used properly.

Agreed. I too did the valet thing for awhile. I tell you, I love Lambos but if you ever get a chance to drive a Countach be prepared for a wild ride. Wild in terms of taming the true bull. Not much fun really.

If you open the door while a biker is coming by, you could accidentally hurt someone really badly if not worse.

...heck, if you open the front doors while a biker is coming by, it'd probably hurt the biker more!
