I am looking to buy a 2007 or newer RX-8. I'm wondering if this is a good deal.

2007 RX-8 GT, 5k miles, great condition-$18,500

2009 RX-8 2k miles, great condition-$23,500

I am also wondering if it would be worth it to get a 2009 or newer, however it would be $25,000+.

With the changes Mazda made to hopefully make the engine last longer, I'd get the MY09. If you can still find any new 09s, you should be able to get a great deal with the $5K factory rebate. For example:

Spend a little extra and get the 09' brother. They have made significant changes that should make it much more reliable.
