RX-8 Owners - We Want You!

We have a special event for you this April 30th - May 2nd. Learn more about it in our forum area here on this board:

https://www.rx8club.com/a-67/

Or ask a fellow rotary owner who attended last year how much fun they had driving their car like it was meant to be driven for the weekend.

Just to let you know, we do have a caravan or rotary vehicles (if you still have one left) coming up from Texas.

We are also trying to nail down some great seminar items for the RX-8 owners.

I just uploaded some video of rotaries autocrossing at least year's event in the Revolution forum area on this website.

Enjoy the video while you get yourself ready for April 30th - May 2nd.

Yep, sorry. I posted up the video and announced it on a lot of forums, and it seems I did it right as the backup system was kicking in and it threw the load off.

Things should be fine now.

No, I rate-limit that box so it doesn't take away too much bandwidth from RX8 Club

I'm very interested in attending an event like this but Indianapolis is a little far (900 miles) for a weekend event. If you organized an event on the East coast I would definitely go.

We've got a group of RX7 owners coming in from Maryland, if you change your mind on the drive (get a co-pilot) I can hook you up with their caravan.

I know it's a whole lot easier to travel in that nice comfy RX8.

Thanks for the info on the caravan. I'll have to give it some thought.

I was thinking about it... then Mazda announced the dates for Rev It Up in DC. Yeah, the same weekend.

Maybe next year.

Yeah, we are going to have to talk to Mazda about letting their workers take a break that weekend.

But, wouldn't you honestly rather caravan out here and drive your new 8? We are gettting ready to announce some great new seminars specifically about the 8's, and there are some exciting things coming in the aftermarket we are working on getting to the event.

Just wanted to share a quote with you from 91vert who attended last year's event in his RX7 and is bringing his new RX8 to the event from St Louis:

For those of you who are new to the rotary "community" with your RX-8's and may not have heard about this prior to reading this thread, believe me when I tell you that this event is top notch and loads of fun. It will definitely be well worth your time to go to this. I don't think there was one person disappointed with any part of it last year. I was shocked by the number of people/cars that attended last year, and I'm guessing there will be even more in attendance this year.

I am definitely going again this year, so if there are any of you in the St. Louis or surrounding area that want to meet up and tear up I-70 together on the way out to Indy let me know and I will organize a place and time for all of us to meet. I'm thinking that some of the local RX-7 guys will be going again, so they'll have to let the 8's convoy with them.

Check the link out and get registered!!

Anyone have any questions about what the event covers and what they get to do there with their new RX8?
